A reinterpretation of Coleman Avenue in San José holds paramount importance in the revitalization of Guadalupe River Park and Gardens, as well as the city's downtown area. This plan is essential for utilizing Coleman Avenue as a pivotal link and entry point into Central San José. Collaborating with SPUR, the Guadalupe River Park Conservancy, and CommUniverCity, also conducted a study to enhance connectivity between the corridor and adjacent neighborhoods, including downtown San José.
